Join us for a very special Motorcycle Monday's Event as we honour Indigenous People's Day, and commemorate our Residential School Garden at Veterans Memorial Gardens and Interpretive Centre. After the commemoration there will be a short ride/drive.
Honoring the lives of the 215 children that were recently discovered in Kamloops, and the 100+ recently discovered in Brandon, but we will be remembering our own too.
Destination: GPRC Family Monument to place 97 pairs of shoes in honour of the 97 children who never made it home from the 8 local and regional residential schools in Northwestern Alberta.
Veterans Memorial Gardens and Interpretive Centre is located at 10121 - 93 street, Grande Prairie.
