Get ready to celebrate Canada at our festivities this year!
Time:
-Parade from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
-Park activities from 3:30 p.m. to midnight.
-Location: Downtown (parade) and Muskoseepi Park (activities)
Cost: Free!
12 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Free swimming at the Aquatera Outdoor Pool
Starting at 3:30 p.m. - Free cake, sponsored by New Horizon Co-op
3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - Live entertainment at the Amphitheatre
11 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. - Fire dancers
3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - Carnival rides and games, sponsored by Paramount Resources Ltd.
3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (face painting ends at 7 p.m.) - Kids zone with bouncy castles, face painting and roaming entertainment.
2 p.m. to midnight - Food trucks
Starting at 11:30 p.m. - Fireworks
Live entertainment kicks off at the amphitheatre beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the following performances throughout the evening:
-Derina Harvey Band.
-The Northbloods.
-Mandee Rae.
The Aquatera Outdoor Pool offers free, drop-in swimming on Canada Day from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the following two-hour waves:
12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
