You are invited to an amazing evening of JAZZ, presented by the Grande Prairie Music Society.
Come out and hear the GP Jazz Ensemble, sometimes called the Monday Night Band. This 17-piece band performs exciting professional big band concert jazz band charts, and its mandate is to develop musicians with challenging music of a variety of styles.
This concert features the amazing Ted Senecal singing the Ella Fitzgerald classic “Blue Skies” and the Weather Report/Manhattan Transfer classic “Birdland.” Other tunes featured include Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder), Fantasy (EWF), Blue Rondo a la Turk (Dave Brubeck), Jumping’ at the Woodside, A Night in Tunisia, and tunes performed by Henry Mancini, Wayne Shorter, Gordon Goodwin, and Thad Jones.
