The City of Grande Prairie invites residents to take part in a community celebration at Keyera Place, the newly named multipurpose sports and recreation facility, with a free community open house on Friday, December 5.
An official ribbon cutting and reception takes place at 9 a.m., marking an exciting milestone for the facility and the community, and kicking off a day of celebration.
Starting at 10 a.m., a full day of free drop-ins are available throughout the building, offering a chance to try out many of the facilities sports and activities, including skateboarding, children’s rock climbing, court sports, and disco rollerskating. Guests can also enter for a chance to win giveaways courtesy of Keyera.
A full list of the scheduled drop-in programs for the day is available at cityofgp.com/events.
