The Dave Barr FREE Kids Fair offers families with young children a safe recreational environment by bringing together more than 30 different community organizations that offer a service for families into our Community Centre. Each organization sets up a game for children ages 0-6 years old and they also set up information for families. These activities build on young children’s social skills, motor skills and offer physical activities in a family-friendly, fun atmosphere.
The event also features face painting, temporary tattoos, bouncy castles, giveaways, door prizes and food trucks
Families will also have the opportunity to learn about and register their children for Dave Barr’s Licensed and Accredited Childcare Services such as Pre-Kindergarten, Daycare, Dayhomes and After-School Care. The Pre-Kindergarten and Toddler classrooms will be open to the public for the children to play in during the event.
The Dave Barr Community Centre encourages all families to check out the event to learn more about child-related services available in Grande Prairie while enjoying entertainment and fun activities for the whole family!
